PRODUCER PROFILE
Francesco and Pauline are young vignerons from Nizza Monferrato who have finally made their dream come true and created a place where they can grow their own grapes: in the heart of the UNESCO heritage site of Piedmont region. They farm Barbera, Moscato, Cortese and Chardonnay following a holistic approach for a low impact on the ecosystem.
Their vines vary from 10-70 years old, exposure is mostly south to south west. They are tufa (limestone) throughout, with some clay and chalk (limestone again) mixed in.
They are inspired by the local winemaking traditions but also like to experiment maceration and fermentation in different unique ways.
