Wild Ale with Damsons
A blend of two barrels from June 2021, fermented with saison yeast, lactobacillus, brettanomyces and aged for four months on whole British damsons.
Assertive cranberry tartness leads into jammy hedgerow berries supported by Champagne-like effervescence and beautiful tannic structure, woody funk, ripe plum, marzipan and delicate notes of vanilla ebb into the lingering, rounded bitterness of damson skin.

Balance is the project of James and Will, head brewers/barrel managers from Manchester craft beer giants Track and Squawk. Balance is a wild fermentation focused brewery. They're fairly new to the scene but making huge waves already.
