PRODUCER PROFILE

The cooperative winery is located in the lower Rhône Valley, 2 miles from the Pont du Gard. Established in 1965, it still maintains a deeply communal identity. Like other cooperative wineries, they receive grapes from their members and use them to make bulk wines, primarily Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre. However, since 1995, they have taken a different approach by producing natural wines. They use only indigenous grapes,
with no filtration, no fining, and an absolute minimum of sulfites. Although they are not certified, the growers limit chemical use in the vineyards. This method allows them to produce wines of remarkable character at some of the best prices you'll find for this type of wine.
